How to Calculate Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Weight and Mesh?
The main parameters of Stainless Steel Wire Mesh include the mesh, wire diameter, aperture, aperture ratio, weight, material, length, and width.
Among them, mesh, wire diameter, aperture, and weight can be obtained by measurement or by calculation. Here, I will share with you if you calculate the mesh, wire diameter, aperture, and weight of the stainless steel wire mesh.

Mesh: The number of cells in the length of one inch.
Mesh=25.4mm/(wire diameter+aperture)
Aperture=25.4mm/mesh-wire diameter
Wire diameter=25.4/mesh-aperture
Weight=(wire diameter) X (wire diameter) X mesh X length X width
Stainless steel wire mesh mainly includes Plain weaving, twill weaving, plain dutch weave, and twilled dutch weave.

Plain Weave Wire Mesh and Twill Weave Wire Mesh form a square opening with equal mesh count horizontally or vertically. Hence woven wire mesh plain weave or twill weave is also called square opening wire mesh, or single layer wire mesh. Dutch Plain Woven Wire Cloth has a coarser mesh and wire in the warp direction and a finer mesh and wire in the weft direction. Dutch Plain Woven Wire Cloth makes an ideal filter cloth with a very compact, firm mesh with great strength.

Stainless steel wire mesh with its excellent resistance against acid, alkali, heat, and corrosion, finds extensive uses processing of oils, chemicals food, pharmaceuticals, airspace, machine making, etc.
