1 Scope 
This standard specifies the weaving type, model, specification, mark, technical condition, test method, inspection rule and sign of industrial wire braided mesh used for screening and filtering. This standard applies to the sieving of solid particles, the filtration of liquid and gaseous substances, and the square mesh of wire woven sieves for other industrial purposes. This standard applies to industrial metal wire woven square mesh with a basic mesh size of 0.02 to 16.0mm.

3 Weaving type, model and specification
3.1 Weaving type Industrial wire woven square mesh is plain weave (see Figure 1) and twill weave (see Figure 2).
3.3 Specifications Expressed by the basic size of the mesh and the diameter of the metal wire (see Table 1).
3.4 Marking Indicated by model, specification, weaving type and number of this standard.
Example: The basic size of the mesh is 1.00mm, and the wire diameter is 0.3555mm. The industrial wire plain weave square mesh is marked as: GFW 1.00 /0.355 (plain) GB/T5330-2003 The basic size of the mesh is 0.063 mm, The diameter of the metal wire is 0.045mm, and the industrial wire twill weave screen is marked as: GFW0.063 /0.045 (twill) GB / T 5330 -2003
 
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 1 The combination of basic mesh size W, mesh arithmetic average size deviation, large mesh size deviation range, and wire diameter d should be selected according to GB/T 10611 and comply with the requirements in Table 1.
4.2 According to the special needs of particle size of natural materials (such as grain, oil, etc.), the specifications in Table 2 are allowed to be selected. 4.3 The basic size and limit deviation of metal wire diameter should meet the requirements in Table 3.
4. The allowable number of large mesh holes: not more than 5%.
4.5 wire
4 . 5 . 1 Metal wire materials are heat-treated soft brass, tin bronze, stainless steel and carbon structural steel. a) The chemical composition of brass should comply with H62, H65, H68 and H80 in GB/T5231. b) The chemical composition of tin bronze shall comply with Q S n6.5-0.1 and Q S n 6.5-0.4 in GB/T5231. c) The chemical composition of stainless steel should adopt the austenitic type in GB/T 4239. d) The chemical composition of carbon structural steel should comply with 10, 08 F and 10 F in GB/T 699. According to different purposes, other metal materials can also be used.
4 . 5 . 2 The surface of the metal wire should be smooth, free from cracks, peeling, scale, and heavy oxidized color.
4.6 Wire screen
4.6.1 The metal wire screen shall be plain weave (see figure l), and may also be twill weave (see figure 2) according to different needs.
4 . 6 . 2 The mesh surface should be smooth, clean, tightly woven, free from mechanical damage and rust spots. Warp joints are allowed, but should be well braided. 4 . 6 . 3 Weaving defects: Metal wire screens are not allowed to have serious weaving defects, such as holes, half-cut wefts, serious dense channels, large cracks, severe curling of the mesh surface, out-of-tolerance mesh inclination, and severe mechanical damage , The firmness of warp and weft interweaving does not meet the requirements, etc. However, general weaving defects are allowed, such as single broken wire, nested weft, back nose, small loose thread, small jumper, wrong twist, slightly uneven mesh surface, slight curling, point-like oil stains, small debris woven into the mesh and Mildly wavy sides etc. The limit requirements for general weaving defects shall comply with the provisions in Table 4. For sieves with a mesh size greater than or equal to 0.18mm, the natural curl diameter of the 1m-long mesh surface should be greater than 80mm; for sieves with a mesh size smaller than 0.18mm, the natural curl diameter of the 1m-long mesh surface should be greater than 60mm. 4.6.5 Requirements for mesh inclination: the non-perpendicularity of the warp and weft wires of the screen on the width of the weaving width should not be greater than 4°.
4.6.6 The interweaving points of the warp and weft wires of the wire mesh should be tight and firm, and no obvious loosening or displacement is allowed. For specific specifications, the requirements for the firmness of the screen should be implemented in accordance with the agreement between the supplier and the buyer.
4. 7 The web width is 800mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1600mm and 2000mm. Wire screens of other web widths can also be manufactured as required.
4.8 Metal wire mesh should be supplied in rolls, each roll can consist of one section or at most three sections, and the same size, same material, and same weaving pattern must be used in the same roll. Wire screens are available in standard roll lengths of 25m and 30.5m. The minimum length of the minimum network segment in each roll of network should comply with the table

5.1 Wire screens are inspected on a frosted glass inspection table with a uniform light source underneath. Those whose mesh size is greater than 1.00mm are allowed to be inspected on an inspection table without a background of light source.
5.2 When inspecting the large mesh size, it should be measured accurately. The precision of the measuring device shall be at least 2.5 µm or 1/10 of the median deviation of the mesh size, whichever is greater.
5.3 Inspection of weaving quality: Visual inspection or observation with a magnifying glass of 5 to 25 times, the defects and discarded parts should be clearly marked.
5.4 Inspection of the size of the large mesh: the large hole should be found by visual inspection, and then the size should be measured with the corresponding instrument or measuring tool, but the distance from the edge of the mesh should not be less than 20mm, and the mesh size should be measured at the midpoint of the opposite side of the mesh distance (see Figure 3). When measuring, it is recommended to use the following corresponding measuring instruments or measuring tools. a) The mesh size is 16.0 mm to 4.00 mm, and a steel ruler with a division value of 0.5 mm or a division value of 0.1m is used. Vernier caliper measurement. b) The mesh size is 3.75 mm to 2.80 mm, measured with a vernier caliper with a division value of 0.05 mm or a microscope or projector with a division value of 0.05 mm and a magnification of 20 to 40 times. c) The mesh size is 2.65mm to 0.071mm, measured with a microscope or projector with a division value of 0.01mm to 0.05mm and a magnification of 20 to 40 times. d) The mesh size is 0.063mm to 0.02mm, measured with a microscope or projector with a division value of 0.01mm to 0.05mm and a magnification of 35 to 100 times.
5.5 The number of large meshes of the sieve whose mesh size is less than 1mm is measured on a 100mmX100mm mesh surface; the number of large meshes of a sieve whose mesh size is greater than or equal to 1mm is measured on a 200mmX200mm mesh surface .
5.6 Inspection of the arithmetic average size of the mesh: three places shall be measured at the point with the largest mesh size deviation according to the warp and weft directions, and the connecting lines between the places shall not be parallel to the warp and weft directions. The measurement site can be selected arbitrarily, but the distance from the edge of the screen should not be less than 20 mm. 5.7 Inspection of the surface quality of metal wire: Visual observation.
5.8 Inspection of metal wire diameter: the average value of not less than 5 warp wires and 5 weft wires should be measured respectively. Measure with a micrometer with a graduation value of 0.01mm or a projector with a graduation value of 0.01mm to 0.05mm and a magnification of 20 to 40 times. If the wire diameter is less than 0.140mm, use a micrometer with a graduation value of 0.001mm~0.005mm or a projector with a graduation value of 0.001mm~0.005mm and a magnification of 35 to 100 times for measurement.
5.9 Net width and net length: Measure with a ruler with a graduation value of 1mm.
 
6 inspection rules
6.1 The wire screen shall be inspected by the technical inspection department of the manufacturer according to Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of this standard.
6.2 Metal wire screens should be submitted for inspection in rolls. If a roll contains several segments, each segment must be inspected.
a) wire mesh weaving quality; b) mesh arithmetic average size; e) large mesh size and quantity; d) wire diameter and material; e) mesh width, mesh length and quantity.
 
7 Signs, packaging, transportation, storage
7.1 Signs
7 . 1 . 1 Metal wire mesh shall be attached with a product qualification certificate, which shall indicate: a) product name; b) wire mesh mark; c) weaving pattern; d) wire material; e) mesh width, Net length, quantity and quality; f) inspection result; g) inspection date and inspection personnel's seal; h) manufacturer's name.
7 . 1 . 2 The outer package should be marked with: a) product name; b) wire mesh mark; c) total mass, kg; d) name of manufacturer; e) "handle with care", "prevent moisture", etc. typeface or logo.
7.2 Packaging
7 . 2 . 1 The wire mesh should be wound on a flat and dry mandrel, wrapped inside and outside with moisture-proof paper or other packaging materials, and can also be wound without a mandrel according to different needs.
7 . 2 . 2 The outer packaging of wire mesh can be dry boxes, boxes or other packaging materials (the mass of each piece should not exceed 80kg in general), and it can also be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer when required by the user.
7.3 Transportation and storage 7.3.1 The transportation should be protected from rain and moisture.
7.3.2 It should be stored in a dry and non-corrosive place, and should not be stored when the inner packaging is damaged. This standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Committee for Standardization of Screening and Particle Inspection Methods.
